common與same的區別

same強調相同，一樣。

common強調"共同的，共有的……

in common with sb/sth = in the same way as sb/sth 與...相同

例句：The two brothers have a lot in common. They have common interests， but they are not the same in character.

這兄弟倆有很多共同點。他們有共同的興趣，但性格卻不相同。

common 的意思：普通的常見的一般的），只講“共同的共有的共享的”這層意思。它跟 same 的區別是：

詞義區別：common 強調“共有”，the same 強調“相同”。

用法區別：

1、 common 一般作定語，不作表語the same 作定語和表語，均可。

2、 common 跟介詞 in 連用

例如：have a lot in commonhave much in commonhave something in commonhave nothing in common。

但 same 必須跟the 連用。
