common与same的区别

same强调相同，一样。

common强调"共同的，共有的……

in common with sb/sth = in the same way as sb/sth 与...相同

例句：The two brothers have a lot in common. They have common interests， but they are not the same in character.

这兄弟俩有很多共同点。他们有共同的兴趣，但性格却不相同。

common 的意思：普通的常见的一般的），只讲“共同的共有的共享的”这层意思。它跟 same 的区别是：

词义区别：common 强调“共有”，the same 强调“相同”。

用法区别：

1、 common 一般作定语，不作表语the same 作定语和表语，均可。

2、 common 跟介词 in 连用

例如：have a lot in commonhave much in commonhave something in commonhave nothing in common。

但 same 必须跟the 连用。
